Kriadex, the commercial name for the tranquilizer Clonazepam, a member of the benzodiazepine group. Dosage

Panic attacks: In the treatment of panic attacks, the initial dose may be 0.25 mg to 0.5 mg twice daily. As needed and well tolerated, the dose may be increased to a maximum of 4 mg daily.
Generalized anxiety disorder: For adults, the starting dose for generalized anxiety disorder is approximately 0.25 mg twice daily. The maximum tolerated dose should not exceed Kriadex 2.5mg per day divided into multiple doses.
Muscle Spasms: For the treatment of muscle spasms, the initial dose of Kriadex may be 1 to 1mg per day, slowly increasing depending on medical indications and patient tolerance to a maximum dose of 20mg per day.
Sedation: For sedation before medical procedures, the dose may vary, but often starts at 0.5 mg and is adjusted depending on the patient's response and the duration of the procedure.
Children: For children, dosage should be strictly individualized.
Contraindications and side effects
Not recommended
Allergic reactions: The drug is contraindicated in patients with known allergies to Clonazepam or other benzodiazepines.
Severe liver disease: Due to the risk of increased side effects, Kriadex is not recommended in patients with severe liver dysfunction.
Acute angle-closure glaucoma: Kriadex Clonazepam may increase symptoms of glaucoma.
Myasthenia gravis: The drug may worsen symptoms of this condition associated with muscle weakness.

Duration of therapeutic effect and half-life
The therapeutic effect of Clonazepam can last for several hours after administration, which makes it an effective means of controlling conditions that require rapid action. The half-life of the drug is 30 to 40 hours, which conditions its dosage 1–3 times a day, depending on the prescription.
Interaction
Alcohol: Increases the depressant effect of Clonazepam Kriadex on the central nervous system, which may lead to deepening of sedation, increased drowsiness, slower reactions and even respiratory depression. Therefore, the combination of Kriadex with alcohol is strictly contraindicated.
Opioid analgesics: Combination of Kriadex with opioid analgesics may lead to deepening respiratory depression, hypotension, profound sedation or even coma. This combination requires special caution and medical supervision.
Antihistamines: Many antihistamines have sedative effects, which may be increased when combined with Kriadex 2.5mg. This may lead to increased drowsiness and slow psychomotor functions.
Anticonvulsants: Kriadex Clonazepam may interact with other anticonvulsants, changing their concentration in the blood. In some cases, this may require dosage adjustments to both Kriadex and other medications.
